Benefits of Epsom Salts

As a tried-and-tested home remedy, Epsom Salts have long been used as a therapeutic alternative for a range of ailments and to help the body recover after sport and exercise.

Some of the wide-ranging benefits include:
• Easing strain and relaxing tired, stiff, or aching muscles
• Relieving pain and muscle cramps
• Promoting sleep and reducing stress
• Soothing the nervous and digestive systems
• Aiding in the elimination of toxins from the body

How to Use

For best results, dissolve the crystals in a soothing hot bath, then lie back and relax.
Soak in water at 36–40°C for 15–20 minutes to allow the magnesium sulfate to be absorbed and to help relax your body.

We recommend using:

  • 500g–1kg per regular-sized bath for muscle relaxation

  • 250–500g for general wellbeing, up to three times per week for optimum benefits

Our Epsom Salts are available in a range of convenient box sizes and 1kg sachet multi-packs. Plus, enjoy free UK next-day delivery on all orders.

About Our Epsom Salts

All our Epsom Salts are BP Grade (British Pharmacopoeia) Magnesium Sulfate, originally named after the town of Epsom in Surrey, where it was first prepared from the town’s mineral waters.

What does BP Grade mean?

BP stands for British Pharmacopoeia, which indicates that the Epsom Salt is produced to a pharmaceutically accepted standard of purity and quality.

Please note: The BP grading system is being phased out and replaced by the FCC (Food Chemicals Codex) grading, meaning the product now meets the specifications laid out by the United States Food Chemicals Codex.

Note: Particle size may vary.
